Derek Denney, M.D.

Dr. Denney is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who grew up in northern Utah and graduated with high honors from Weber State University. He then went on to receive his Medical Degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin where he was involved in multiple research studies in the field of ophthalmology. Upon his completion of medical school, he did his intern year at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. After a successful year at IMC, he completed his ophthalmology residency at Indiana University. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

Dr. Denney specializes in cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery and LASIK. He also manages the care of patients with a variety of ocular conditions including dry eye, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration.

Dr. Denney lives in St. George with his wife and four children. When he’s not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, coaching his children’s sports teams, traveling, and exploring the great outdoors.
