Justin Jackman, O.D.

Dr. Justin Jackman is a dedicated optometrist with deep roots in Utah and over a decade of experience in private practice. A proud graduate of American Fork High School, he served a two-year service mission in Brazil, where he developed a love for service and connecting with people.

Dr. Jackman graduated summa cum laude from Southern Utah University with a bachelor’s degree in Biology, then earned his Doctor of Optometry degree magna cum laude from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Shortly after, he entered private practice in Odessa, Texas, where he became a partner and served the community for 12 years.

In 2025, Dr. Jackman and his family made the decision to return to Southern Utah to live closer to family and friends. He is passionate about providing exceptional eye care while building lasting relationships with the people of this vibrant region. Dr. Jackman is also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and enjoys serving patients in their native languages whenever possible.

As an optometrist, Dr. Justin Jackman provides comprehensive eye examinations, preventive eye care, and ongoing management of many common eye conditions for patients of all ages. When advanced medical or surgical treatment is needed, he works closely with Zion Eye Institute’s ophthalmologists to coordinate specialty care for cataracts, glaucoma, retinal disease, corneal conditions, and other complex eye health concerns. Dr. Jackman sees patients in Cedar City, St. George, Santa Clara, and Mesquite, helping individuals and families throughout Southern Utah access personalized eye care close to home.
