Jason A. Ahee, M.D.

Dr. Ahee is originally from Michigan. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Hillsdale College where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He went on to Wayne State University School of Medicine where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree and graduated with Distinction in Biomedical Research. The following year, Dr. Ahee finished his internship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, and then went on to Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit where he completed his specialty training in ophthalmology and earned recognition as the Most Outstanding Senior Resident.

He joined the Zion Eye Institute in 2003 and purchased the practice in 2006. He has been a member of the Clinical Faculty at the University of Utah’s Moran Eye Center since 2004, and holds the appointment of Assistant Clinical Professor. Dr. Ahee is also the Chairperson of the Continuing Medical Education Committee at Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George, and was selected as one of “America’s Top Ophthalmologists in 2009” by consumers research council. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the Utah Ophthalmological Society.
